LAB 155 / ATOMIC APPEND LIST
Atomic neighbor list
Each particle atomically claims a slot in its cell bucket. A second compute pass scans those bounded buckets and connects one nearest candidate per particle.
Studying atomic append, capacity, and staged compute.
LIVE PARAMETERS
Stress the buckets
The GPU list has 12 fixed slots per cell. Excess inserts are retained as overflow counts but are intentionally excluded from the bounded neighbor scan; this is a capacity study, not an unbounded linked-list claim.
