Choose who owns the pipeline.

The same MeshStandardNodeMaterial can keep its native PBR graph, alter a shared context, replace the final fragment, or post-process the native output. Switch contracts and observe which parts of Three.js still belong to the material.

Uniform changes stay rebuild-free; changing ownership recompiles the material graph.

The baseline assigns surface inputs while MeshStandardNodeMaterial owns vertex setup, lighting, fog, and output.

The official NodeMaterial docs distinguish `contextNode`, `fragmentNode`, and `outputNode`. Use ?forceWebGL=1 to compile the same graph through the WebGL2 backend.
