THREE.JS / WEBGL / GEOMETRY MODIFIER
Fewer vertices, same lesson.
The pinned example compares a loaded source mesh with a cloned mesh rebuilt by SimplifyModifier. This contract keeps that two-mesh boundary while using a deterministic local torus-knot fixture in place of the missing official GLB.

The implementation preserves the modifier boundary, clone/material separation, ratio-to-removal calculation, and refresh lifecycle. The official LeePerrySmith GLB, exact mesh/pixels, GUI/Stats presentation, and whole-example fidelity remain separate.
Derived from the pinned WebGL SimplifyModifier example.
