THREE.JS / WEBGPU MATERIAL CONTRACT
A coating is its own lobe.
The WebGPU clearcoat example separates a physical base from its reflective coat. This bounded lab keeps the installed node-material contract observable: coat strength, coat roughness, red/green channel maps, an independent coat normal, and renderer lifecycle.

This is a generated three-sphere fixture, not the official gallery asset or pixel composition. Native WebGPU and the explicit WebGL2 reference share the physical property contract; device performance, context loss, and whole-example fidelity remain separate boundaries.
