THREE.JS / WEBGPU INSTANCING CONTRACT
One horse, 1024 timelines.
The pinned gallery example loads Horse.glb, shares its morph-target geometry through one InstancedMesh, and writes a different AnimationMixer time into each instance’s morphTexture. This route keeps that topology observable in native WebGPU with an explicit WebGL2 reference lane.

The installed three.js 0.185.1 package does not expose the pinned SunLight/SunLightNode modules, so this route labels its DirectionalLight compatibility path explicitly. Exact official Inspector presentation, native SunLight parity, hardware/device performance, context-loss stress, and whole-example fidelity remain separate.
