THREE.JS / WEBGPU EFFECTS

Light leaves a trail.

The WebGPU gallery path replaces the classic Lensflare addon with LensflareMesh: each PointLight owns a five-element occlusion flare while the shared static field stays renderer-owned.

WebGPU contract

LensflareMesh owns the WebGPU occlusion maps and node materials; the caller owns PointLight attachment, five LensflareElement textures per flare, static field geometry, FlyControls, and explicit teardown. ?forceWebGL=1 selects the classic Lensflare reference lane.

Derived from the official WebGPU lensflares example, pinned LensflareMesh/LensflareElement source, and the WebGL lensflares example. Generated flare textures and bounded controls keep asset and pixel fidelity separate from this runtime contract.
