THREE.JS / WEBGPU TEXTURE ARRAY

A stack of moving slices.

A deterministic DataArrayTexture stores 24 red-channel layers. The native graph samples one animated layer with TSL texture(...).depth(...); the explicit WebGL2 lane uses a labeled sampler2DArray reference.

Native WebGPU keeps the array texture and animated depth node in the TSL graph. WebGL2 samples the same deterministic array with sampler2DArray; it is a backend reference, not a claim of native graph parity.

Derived from the pinned WebGPU 2D Texture Array example and installed TSL TextureNode.depth source. The local 64×64×24 fixture replaces the official 256×256×109 zipped head data; exact assets/page/pixels, device matrices, performance calibration, and whole-example fidelity remain separate.
