THREE.JS / SOURCE PROMOTION
AR plane detection
Source-shaped study of the pinned webxr_ar_plane_detection example: a transparent WebGLRenderer, required plane-detection, native XRPlanes, and an animation loop. Desktop QA uses a visible synthetic adapter without claiming native AR sensing.

AR entry pointplane-detection
AR capability-
The AR button requests the exact required plane-detection feature. Native plane identity, polygon, pose, and removal updates are provided by XRPlanes only inside a compatible immersive AR session.
Desktop adaptersynthetic surfaces
Click a visible desktop surface to select it. Placement exercises caller-owned scene objects; it is not evidence of native plane poses or whole-example fidelity.
Lifecycle and diagnosticsRUNNING
Native plane meshes require an active plane-detection AR session.
